As January winds down and we are on the brink of stepping into February don’t miss out on this FREE Event at the Prairie Heritage Center this weekend.
On Saturday, January 26, 2012 you won’t want to miss the opportunity to see the universe from a whole new angle. Beginning at 6:00 P.M. all ages will be able to experience a portable Star Lab that will literally take you on a tour around the galaxy. Talk with your students that have experienced this great opportunity over the last couple of weeks. Our O’Brien County students have traveled to the moon, sat on Saturn’s rings, and went in search of constellations while learning of their stories of old.
This free event is open to all ages and will begin at 6:00 P.M. It will include a Prairie Walk with an almost Full Moon following the Star Lab presentation (if you are able, but not required to participate in this event), so dress accordingly.
