The O'Brien County Conservation Board Announces The April Winner of the 2013 Special Edition Calendar Raffle!

Mark Ellsworth of Sheldon, Iowa was drawn as the April winner of 2013 Special Edition Calendar Raffle. Mark won a Verdict Spinning Rod with an Abu Garcia Reel!
Sharon, our celebrity for the day, drew from the many names entered in the raffle. Sharon and a group of ladies from the Alta area enjoyed their monthly meeting at the Prairie Heritage Center beginning with a presentation from the O’Brien County Conservation Board’s Naturalist and completed their tour with the exhibit in the lower level: “Listen to the Prairie – Farming in Nature’s Image.”
