Relaxed Fishing Regulations At Dog Creek Park Point Towards Lake Renovations In The Fall!
May 3, 2013
Fishing regulations have been relaxed at Dog Creek Park on County Road M12 near Sutherland, Iowa to allow licensed anglers to harvest fish prior to a lake renovation scheduled this fall.
Anglers with a valid fishing license may take fish by any means except dynamite, poison, electroshocking devises, or any stupefying substances. In addition, daily bag and minimum length restrictions are lifted. Taking fish for commercial purposes is not allowed.
The fish population renovation will occur later this year due to the high numbers of common carp in the lake. This project will help to make Dog Creek Lake an excellent fishing location in the future.
