OCEDC and Farm Bureau to Host Free Seminar on Health Care Reform September 12th
Primghar, Iowa, August 28, 2013 –O’Brien County Economic Development Corporation, in conjunction with Farm Bureau Financial Services of Primghar will host a free educational seminar on September 12, 2013 at the O’Brien County Courthouse Assembly Room. There will be two meeting times that you can choose from: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. or 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This seminar will help you:
• Understand the main parts of the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
• Know how the ACA affects you
• Learn what steps you need to take to prepare for 2014
This seminar will especially be helpful to those who are under 65 years of age, self-employed individuals, those who are not eligible for employer provided health insurance and employers.
Aaron Prewitt, CPA of Williams and Company P.C. in Sheldon will speak specifically about how the ACA will affect employers.
